To narrow and wide defining political opposition in the western political science

Abstract
The scientific research is devoted to the problems of definition and generalization of political opposition in the Western Political Science. It was proved that the Western Political Science is not unified in the context of political opposition’s definition, since it is based on multifactorial theoretical and methodological analysis incorporated in narrow and wide definitions of political opposition. The author found that a narrow (classical) definition of political opposition tends to parliamentary opposition and a wide (modern) definition of political opposition tends to parliamentary opposition and other forms of opposition based on the politicization of public, social and political process. It is proved that political opposition should be talked about in plural.
