До 100-річчя григорія андрійовича в’язовського Міністерство освіти і науки України, Одеський національний університет імені І. І. Мечникова, філологічний факультет, кафедра теорії літератури та компаративістики 4–5 квітня 2019 року провели Всеукраїнську наукову конференцію «Орбіти художнього слова», присвячену 100-річчю доктора філологічних наук, професора Григорія Андрійовича В’язовського.
