TO THE ISSUE OF MAJOR CONCEPT OF GEOGRAPHY

Abstract
The issue of the major concept in the science is discovered. It is accented on difficulties that were arising with the definition of the major concept in the history of geography. The significance of the concept “landscape” as the major concept in geography is grounded. It is marked that the category of landscape is immanent to the same degree for natural and social geography.
