Abstract
The development of trade in XV-XVI cc in England led to the development of trade diplomacy, indicating 1485, 1486, 1491, 1493, 1497, 1508 documents. The study of the sources revealed that the British merchant-adventure company had a resident diplomatic representative in the Netherlands. Residents include: William Caxton, John Pickering, John Piper, and John Woodley. Their immediate duty was to control trade, trade rights, and fulfill the royal authority's tasks. Diplomatic relations and diplomacy emerged from the trade diplomacy in England.
