Abstract

The article is dedicated to the investigation of the transcription and the transliteration of Ukrainian names in Polish on the material of the press releases published in 1991 and 2012. The analysis has shown that there is a necessity to redescribe perspicuous and readable rules of transcription and transliteration of Ukrainian antroponims.
