TREATMENT OF ACUTE SENSORYNEURAL HEARING DISORDERS. HYPERBARIC OXYGENATION OR HYPOBARIC HYPOXIA?

Abstract
В лікуванні сенсоневрального порушення слуху, часто пов’язаного з розладами васкуляризації внутрішнього вуха в наш час широко застосовується гіпербарична оксигенація. На підставі вивчення праць проф.В.Я.Березовського проведено пошук в літературі стосовно доцільності використанняцієїметодики, а такожметодикикерованої гіпоксії. Поставленопідсумнівдоцільність гіпербаричної оксигенації з огляду на те, що надмір кисню призводить до утворення пероксиду водню, радикалу гідроксиду і утворення потужного цитотоксичного продукту пероксинітриту аніона. З іншого боку, під впливом гіпобаричної гіпоксії, відбувається активація резервних капілярів і, навіть, неоангіогенез. Це дає підстави для подальшого вивчення цієї проблеми. In the treatment of sensoryneural hearing loss, often associated with disorders of internal ear vascularization, hyperbaric oxygenation is widely used in our time. On the basis of the study of the works of Prof. V. Ya. Berezovsky, a search was carried out in the literature on the feasibility of using this technique, as well as the techniques of controlled hypoxia. It is questioned the expediency of hyperbaric oxygenation, given that the excess of oxygen leads to the formation of hydrogen peroxide, a radical of hydroxide and the formation of a powerful cytotoxic product of peroxynitrite anion. On the other hand, under the infl uence of hypobaric hypoxia, there is activation of reserve capillaries and, even, neoanogiogenesis. This gives grounds for further study of this problem.
