Trend of Cost of Production and Price in Manipur, India

Abstract
The most important economic issue of income generation for farmers hinges on the prices received by them for their product, cost of production and profitability which are determined by a host of factors. It is, therefore, important to examine cost, price and profitability of agriculture to know the progress of agriculture in the state of Manipur. In this paper an attempt is made to analyse various issues of production cost, prices received by the farmers of their product and marketing aspects as well.
