TRENDS OF DEVELOPMENT OF BANСASSURANCE IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article describes the concept of bancassurance, its origin and stages of development. Positive and negative sides for banks and insurance companies are considered. We worked on the dynamics of net insurance payments and premiums for the first half of 2012-2016; dynamics of net insurance premiums and payments for insurance of loans for the first half of 2012-2016. Analyzed the size of insurance premiums and insurance reserves of leading companies in the market of bank insurance of Ukraine as of the first half of 2016. The reasons for the insufficient development of bancassurance in Ukraine were indicated and directions for improvement proposed.
