Abstract
The article considers the concept of entrepreneurial potential, the basis of its formation and composition. The country's place in the international ranking “Doing Business” and the level of economic freedom. Positive and negative factors that influenced the change of Ukraine's place in the rating were determined. The list of measures to improve the business climate of the country is given.
