TRIBOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATIONS OF HIGH-TEMPERATURE SENSORY MATRIX-SUPPLIED ALLOYS

Journal Title: Проблеми тертя та зношування - Year 2017, Vol 76, Issue

Abstract

The questions of creation of high-temperature wear-resistant alloys for increase of wear resistance of parts of the hot part of gas turbine engines by the method of isostatic hot pressing are considered. The alloys of the Co-TiC, Ni-TiS and GS32-TiC systems with different volumetric content of the absorbing carbide ТІС phase are manufactured. The influence of porosity of carbide phase and temperature on wear resistance in conditions of fretting corrosion is investigated. The analysis of the results of the investigation of samples from PC-30 and PC-50 alloys showed that samples of sintered powder presses with a porosity of more than 10% are shown in the general tendency to lose wear resistance with increasing porosity. The obtained results indicate that there is a maximum permissible value of porosity and an optimal concentration of a reinforcing carbide phase, in which the highest resistance to friction wear is achieved in the composite powder alloys under study.
