UKRAINIAN PEDAGOGES ABOUT THE ROLE OF TRADITIONS IN PUPILS’ NATIONAL AND PATRIOTIC UPBRINGING

Abstract
The article deals with the concept of "traditions" as a philosophical, socio-psychological and pedagogical phenomenon. The historical-pedagogical aspect of this problem is emphasized, attention is focused on the reflection of the national ideal of upbringing in folk traditions. The importance of the educational potential of national traditions in the patriotic upbringing of pupils’ youth is highlighted.
