Abstract
Contemporary era is the practice of monstrosities, abominations, outrages and wickedness’s like impatience, intolerance, non-lenience, detestation and jealousy and many more immoral values. To overcome all these abominations, the interfaith dialogue is a peaceful path which is prescribed by Islamic principles to spread tolerance, lenience, peace and endearment among all benoit classes. Islam encourages “Dawah” which settles the differences and creates harmonic society which promotes lenience and benefaction. It is the need of the hour to promote interfaith dialogue and lenience for promoting a flexible society in which respect should be given to all the religions like UMMAHATUL MOMINEEN did in the past. The tradition of interfaith dialogues among different schools of thought develops tolerance and lenience in society. The Prophet (P.B.U.H) and his companions spread teachings of Islam and Sunnah through dialogue. Historical perspective reveals that not only men but women like Ummahat ul Momineen played prominent role in spreading brotherhood, doting, lenience and love among different sects of society through interfaith dialogues. They changed the societal thinking and enhanced the true spiritual and ethical teachings which can only be established through interfaith dialogue. UMMAHATUL MOMINEEN safeguarded and sacrificed to spread objectives of Islam. They taught lenience, solace, spiritual delight and harmony among the people through interfaith dialogue. These women were the symbol of spirituality and enlightenment for their followers. Ummahatul Momineen gave the message of lenience and social harmony which provides a way to promote cross cultural values of coexistence. And nowadays we can promote the tradition of religious harmony and lenience through interfaith dialogue and ‘Dawah’ which are the essence of Islamic principles.
