UNESCO strategies in the development of the international cultural cooperation

Abstract
The purpose of the work. Research is devoted to the analysis of the place and role of UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. Policies and programs of UNESCO as a representant of the international cultural cooperation and the specifics of UNESCO strategies within its five sectors are analyzed. Research methodology consists of systematic, structural and functional comparative analysis methods, allowing understanding the role of UNESCO in organization, coordination, dissemination and strengthening the international dialogue of nations, cultures and civilizations based on a study of the legislative framework, key sectors and organization policy. Scientific novelty reveals in expanding notions of the role of UNESCO and in actualization of problems and challenges facing by the processes of international cooperation in culture. The analysis of Educational, Scientific and Cultural sectors made by UNESCO policy provides the opportunity to outline the potential of the United Nations and UNESCO in strengthening peace and sustainable human development, the inclusive legislation, standards and specific operational actions tools to safeguard and promote the development of culture, the augmentation of cultural institutions, professional networks and attract people around the world to the culture creation. Conclusion. UNESCO activity aims to create a new humanism that links human development with the planet preservation and ensures equal access to all the benefits of education, science, culture, communication and information, facilitates the inclusive society creation, development of which ensures social justice, diversity, tolerance and understanding. UNESCO strategies focus on developing the specific proposals for the formation of integral, innovative and efficient structures and expansion of interdisciplinary approaches in program implementation. These programs agreed on international, global, regional and state level, thematically focus and result- oriented, directly or indirectly take into account the priorities of the global UNESCO strategy.
