United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea 1982: 35 years of the Constitution for the oceans

Abstract
The significance of the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea for determining the legal status and legal regime of maritime spaces is noted. The importance of the Convention in the process of resolving international disputes is underlined. The UN Convention on the Law of the Sea attaches special importance to the need to restore the rights of Ukraine as a coastal state in the Black and Azov Seas.
