Abstract
The aim of the research is to examine the relationship between facebook usage habits of university students and the level of happiness, age, gender, income level and department. The study sample included 171 female, 112 male total 283 students at Necmettin Erbakan University Ahmet Keleşoğlu Faculty of Education the department of mental retardation, mathematics, pre-school and classroom teacher. The data were obtained by using personal information form, Facebook Addiction Scale and Oxford Happiness Questionnaire. The results showed that there was no sinificant relationship between facebook addictions and happiness levels of the university students. Moreover, facebook addictions and happiness levels were not meaningful according to genders but, it is significant terms of age,and department but not meaningful in terms of income level.
