Unsteady Flow in a Horizontal Double-Sided Symmetric Thin Liquid Films
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2017, Vol 9, Issue 2
Abstract
In this paper a mathematical model is constructed to describe a two dimensional incompressible flow in a symmetric horizontal thin liquid film for unsteadies flow. We apply the Navier-Stokes equations with specified boundary conditions and we obtain the equation of the film thickness by using the similarity method in which we can isolate the explicit time dependence and then the shape of the film will depend on one variable only.

Sammon mapping for preliminary analysis in Hyperspectral Imagery
The main goal of this paper is to present the implementation of the Sammon algorithm developed for finding N points in a lower m-dimensional subspace, where the original points are from a high n-dimensional space. This m...
Numerical simulation of K-, N- and O-regime boundary-layer transition at early nonlinear stage
Boundary layer transition is usually associated with the amplification and breakdown of three-dimensional waves (3D waves). However, the details of the development of 3D waves in different transition regimes are not well...
