Ureter reconstruction boari bladder flap: a case report
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF MEDICAL COLLEGE CHANDIGARH - Year 2015, Vol 5, Issue 2
Abstract
Iatrogenic ureteric injuries in gynecologic surgery are rare and need specilized reconstruction. We present a case of 42-year-old female who underwent total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oopherectomy for suspected adenexal neoplasm. Postoperatively, she had oliguria with urinary ascitis and was found to have ureteric stricture on CT urography. The patient was successfully managed by open Boari flap.
