Usługi społeczne w polityce społecznej samorządu lokalnego

Abstract
The article describes social services provided by social assistance employees to those in crisis. Social services help to minimise and even solve many prob-lems, at the same time ensuring good conditions for people and families and helping them function independently in a local community. The author indi-cates that a social service in the form of social work isnecessary for people and families to overcome difficult situations. A particularly important issue is defining social services in the development of local government.
