Abstract
Različite sportske grane, a samim tim, i sportska gimnastika,zahtevaju različit nivo različitog broja antropoloških osobina, sposobnosti i karakteristika. Zbog samog karaktera naučne oblasti sporta, koji se nalazi između dve velike grupacije društvenih i prirodnih nauka, danas je sasvim jasno, da je neophodan interdisciplinarni pristup u većini naučnih istraživanja.Vrhunski sport razvija se neobično brzim tempom. Glavni uzrok tako ubrzanog razvoja sporta je prisustvo nauke u sportu, promena uslova treninga, sredstava, metoda, pravila, opreme, stručnog kadra, materijalnih sredstava a danas i neophodno prisustvo marketinga.
