UTOPIA AS A CONCEPT IN ROMANTIC LITERARY WORK

Abstract
The article deals with the peculiarities of utopia as artistic genre in Russian literature of Romantic epoch. The main purpose of the article is to study literary works by V. Odoevskiy, N. Polevoy, K. Aksakov and other writers. Author of the article uses typological methodology and also hermeneutic strategies. Results of the comparative research of works are following: three thematic groups of romantic utopias were distinguished. In each of them opposition «ideal (imaginary) – actual reality» is the central. This sign is typical for all romantic utopias. However in the group of works about the return of hero to the epoch of the ideal state of humanity this opposition is realized at level «primary harmony – the modern state of alienation»; in works about future technical progress – «scientific – ignorance, unreceptive to new ideas»; in the so-called social utopias – «freedom and morality – despotism and inhumanity». The main feature of romantic utopia is that the program of ideal person is more important for author and the reader than the program of ideal society.
