In addition to praying for him in the Friday sermon and engraving his name on Tiraz.Coins are true mirror of the era in which they were minted as they faithfully reflect the conditions of the country that minted them, whether they were political, economic, social, religious, sectarian, artistic, literary, geographical, etc. The importance of coins appears clearly in filling the gaps of what is absent in the historical resources.In the light of this, this research paper reviews the coins of Banu al-Saj, a Turkish family that ruled Azerbaijan, Maragheh, Ardabil, and Bardaâa. Also many other models were investigated in this paper, which were only published and not studied before,These specimens are ten models are preserved in the collection of Professor Yahya Jaafar in the United Arab Emirates, in addition to other four Models preserved in the Islamic Numismatics Center at the University of Tübingen in Germany, and a model preserved in the National Museum of the History of Azerbaijan and I published several models that were previously published and not studied.which are eight models preserved in the American Numismatic Society, and nine models preserved in the National Museum of Qatar and a model preserved in the British Museum in London and a piece preserved in the Ashmolean Museum were previously published but not studied before, in addition to publishing several other pieces published in Arab and international auctions and catalogs.
