Variety of tasks and alternative types of control and assessment in formation of the foreign language communicative competency of the students specialising in “Tourism Study”

Abstract
The articles defines various types of assessment, characterises main constituents of students’ learning activity control. There being viewed the issue of expedience of use of different types of control and assessment in vocationally biased foreign language teaching students specialising in “Tourism Study”. One of the components of professional training of contemporary tourism industry specialist is working with authentic tasks. There were investigated methodological approaches to the assessment process in the preparation to professional/vocational communication in foreign environment.
