Volunteers Provide Support to Families with Children with Disabilities

Abstract
The parents of a child with a disability have to deal with many adversities. The volunteers working in government and non-governmental organizations help families in a variety of ways. The multidimensional support received allows for proper functioning of the family in society. The social network is a source of support for them. In this article, the author presents social support and also briefly describes the situation of a disabled child in the family and supports they are receiving.
