Abstract
The article evaluates about consequences of industrial activity in the Krompachy town. In Krompachy we can investigate air pollution, pollution of water, soils etc. Next danger form of pollution is existence of industrial setting pit. Its name is Halňa and it is located in northen part of the Krompachy town. It is located between rail - way line and the Hornád river, near two industrial factories – SEZ Krompachy and Kovohuty Krompachy. There is bedded communal scrap, industrial sludge and cinder. It is source of pollution.
