Water supply system in Międzychód commune
Journal Title: Civil and Environmental Engineering Reports - Year 2012, Vol 1, Issue 8
Abstract
The properly designed and exploited water supply system is very important both for consumers and management in commune. Work conditions of such systems are changing so it is necessary to know its current parameters. Now we have different modern programs which make possible to calculate parameters and carry out simulation of designed changes which could improve reliability coefficients. Evaluation of exploited water supply system in Międzychód and designed its connection with subsystem in Radgoszcz were presented in this paper.

Removal of priority PAHs from coking wastewater
The purpose of these tests described in this study was to determine the effectiveness of removing eight aromatic compounds from the list of priority. Tests were carried out using coke produced during wastewater treatment...
A NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF THE RESISTANCE AND STIFFNESS OF THE ALUMINIUM AND CONCRETE COMPOSITE BEAM
In this paper a numerical analysis of the resistance and stiffness of the aluminium and concrete composite beam is presented. Composite aluminium and concrete structures are quite new and they have not been thoroughly te...
AIDED PHYTOSTABILIZATION OF COPPER CONTAMINATED SOILS WITH L. PERENNE AND MINERAL SORBENTS AS SOIL AMENDMENTS
The present study was designed to assess phytostabilization strategies for the treatment of soil co-contaminated by increasing levels of copper with the application mineral amendments (chalcedonite, zeolite, dolomite). F...
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in gravity-operated and surface water from areas located nearby coking plant in Dąbrowa Górnicza (Upper Silesia region, Poland)
The paper presents the results of five PAHs contents determination in the surface and gravity-operated water. The samples of gravity-operated water were taken quarterly in 2009 from collectors put in fifteen points in ar...
