Watermarking Based on the Hyperanalytic Wavelet Transform
Journal Title: Acta Technica Napocensis- Electronica-Telecomunicatii (Electronics and Telecommunications) - Year 2008, Vol 49, Issue 3
Abstract
In this paper we present a new technique for watermarking in the hyperanalytic wavelet domain. This has the advantage of better directional selectivity and shift invariance compared to the classical wavelet filter. The watermark is inserted into all levels of decomposition using a perceptual mask conceived by the authors. We compare this technique with two systems in the DWT domain, and show its superiority. We study the resistance of the three watermarking systems against various signal processing attacks. All three methods successfully detect the watermark. This leads to the conclusion that the Hyperanalytic Wavelet Transform (HWT) increases the payload and robustness.

Evaluation Of The Plasma Cleaned Surface Of A Heritage Wooden Painting Using IQA Methods
In this paper a new approach regarding the assessment of the visual efficiency of the plasma cleaning treatment applied in artwork restoration is discussed. The proposed method, which was tested in the case of a wooden p...
A Medical Image Fusion Method For WEB Distributed Applications
Medical images acquired with different medical modalities contain important diagnostic information. The combination of complementary data from these images can lead to more important information for diagnosis process. T...
Acoustic Echo Cancellation Using Wavelet Transform And Adaptive Filters
The paper proposes a new method for acoustic echo cancellation(AEC), in order to improve the performances of the normalized least-mean-square (NLMS) and non-parametric variable- step -size-NLMS (NPVSS-NLMS) algorithms. T...
A Study of the Permutation Schemes Used in the Mobile WIMAX
With the goal of decreasing the interference at sub-carrier level, the allocation of sub-carrier frequencies in an OFDMA based system is selective. This selective allocation can be seen like a permutation of a frequency...
Workflow Based Service Composition Using Genetic Algorithms
One common direction in service oriented computing is to use predefined workflows to compose new services that combine the functionality of existing services. But the problem with this approach is that services can’t be...
