WORLD INSURANCE AND ITS ROLE IN UKRAINIAN INSURANCE MARKET

Abstract
The article explored the main methodological positions and scientific princi-ples, on which the insurance markets of the countries of Europe, the USA and Japan were successfully built. The current situation of the insurance market of Ukraine is considered in comparison with the countries mentioned. The structure of the insurance markets of the EU, the USA and Japan determined. The reasons of success of foreign insurance markets are analyzed. The authors showed ways to improve and reform the Ukrainian insurance market, that are based on the conducted research.
