Wpływy języka rosyjskiego na polszczyznę – stan i problemy badań

Abstract
The paper deals with Polish-Russian language contacts and their impact on the Polish language, both within the country and abroad, especially in the Eastern Borderlands. The focus is on reviewing the current state of knowledge and discussing methodological problems of studying Russianisms in the Polish language. The author discusses available sources of data and their suitability for this type of research, selection of methodology (lexical or morphosemantic approach), criteria and ways of etymologizing Russian borrowings, types of borrowings, chronology, scope of usage, territorial and social variation.
