Abstract
Road Safety Education at the Early Stages of Primary School Young people living in a contemporary world must meet many requirements. Of key importance are not only the skills acquired at school but also the ones learned outside the classroom. There are certain areas of educational issues which — when taught in the classroom — will not bring about expected results. One of them is certainly road safety education. At the early stages of education in a primary school road safety is not given sufficient attention and significance. Statistical data presented by the National Police Headquarters demands that one changes the way students in the first, second and third grade of a primary school are prepared to be the part of road traffic.
