Abstract
Marital status registration is the system of mandatory and continuous records of events that have an influence on people’s marital status, as well as other entries subjected to registration in Registry Offices. The subject of undermentioned remarks is the problem of issuing of registry office record estreats and certificates from the Vital Records Register, about entries or lack of them. Crucial in this field is the provision of art. 45 et seq. of Registry Office Records Act that defines the entities entitled to receive the registry office record estreat and certificate.
