Występy Sergiusza Rachmaninowa w Polsce

Abstract
Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie informacji na temat kilkunastu koncertów, jakie zagrał w Polsce (w Warszawie i miastach prowincjonalnych – Łodzi, Wilnie) Sergiusz Rachmaninow przed pierwszą wojną światową oraz w dwudziestoleciu międzywojennym. Autorzy rekonstruują prezentowany w Polsce repertuar pianisty oraz przytaczają głosy krytyki, uznając za szczególnie ważne te, które ilustrują tło społeczno-polityczne recepcji sztuki wielkiego Rosjanina.
