YEVHEN OLESNYTSKYI – THE WAY OF LIFE AND ACTIVITY

Abstract
The article deals with the study of the life and activity of one of the prominent figures of Galicia in the second half of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, there are Olesnitsky (1860-1917). The results of the research give grounds to assert that his work, especially in the management of the peasant economy, was valuable in the period when he lived and worked, did not lose its relevance in the current conditions of reforming the Ukrainian agrarian sector, and, of course, they should be taken into account in the development of agrarian relations in the future.
