Yükseköğretimi ve Tıp Fakültelerini Yeniden Düşünme, Yarını Planlama

Abstract
Dünyada yükseköğretimin paradigma düzeyinde hızla dönüştüğü çağımızda yükseköğretim sisteminin tüm yönleriyle yeniden ele alınması ve yapılandırılması zorunlu hale gelmiştir. Bu süreçte arama konferansları/toplantıları, tematik toplantılar, çalıştaylar gibi farklı yöntemler kullanılarak yapılacak çalışmaların ulusal düzey olduğu kadar üniversiteler, fakülteler ve bölümler düzeyinde de daha ayrıntılı şekillerde yapılması önemlidir. Bu bağlamda elinizdeki çalışmada, bir üniversitenin ve fakültenin bugününün ve yarının ele alındığı arama toplantısı ile kurumsal ölçekte, ‘fakültenin bugününün' değerlendirilmesi ve “Yarının tıp fakültesi nasıl olmalıdır?” sorusuna cevaplar aranması amaçlanmıştır. Toplam 58 öğretim üyesinin katılımı ile gerçekleşen ve her biri toplam dört saat süren dört arama toplantısında üç oturumdan oluşan farklı bir ‘beyin fırtınası' formatı kullanılmış ve katılımcıların birinci oturumda yazılı olarak belirtt iği görüş ve değerlendirmelerin içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgular ana çerçevesi, yapılanması, işlevleri ve yönetimiyle yükseköğretimin yeniden yapılandırılması sürecinde makro ölçekli çalışmaların yanı sıra üniversiteler, fakülteler ve bölümler düzeyinde yapılacak mikro ölçekli çalışmaların önemine işaret etmektedir.
