Abstract
В статье рассматриваются жесткокрылые (жуки), которые могут представлять опасность для человека с медицинской точки зрения. Проанализирована и обобщена информация о токсичности определённых групп жесткокрылых. Представлен обзор современных сведений о токсических веществах жесткокрылых и ассоциированных с ними заболеваний человека. Обобщаются данные, характеризующие распространенность, патогенез, клинические особенности заболеваний, обусловленных воздействием токсических веществ различных семейств жесткокрылых.
