Abstract
The article deals with the use of active learning methods using web-based e-learning environment Moodle in teaching higher mathematics to students of State Higher Educational Institution «Pryazovskyi State Technical University». One of the active learning method is a method of projects. The basis of a method of projects the idea is the essence of the concept of «project», his pragmatic focus on the result, which is obtained by solving a particular practical or theoretical importance of the problem. This result can be seen to understand, to apply in real practice. One of the ways to implement active learning methods is to use a web-based e-learning environment Moodle. It is shown how to use the element of distance course «Seminar» for the organization of independent work of students in higher mathematics in the implementation of the method of projects. It noted a number of advantages of the method of projects for the organization of independent work of students with elements of distance learning course. Conclusions on the results of a method of projects using web-based e-learning environment Moodle for the organization of independent work of students in higher mathematics.
