Zmiany algorytmów leczenia nowotworów głowy i szyi w latach 2010–2017 oparte o wytyczne NCCN

Abstract
Wstęp: W celu poprawy wyników leczenia Nowotworów Głowy i Szyi (NGiS) i podniesienia jakości życia pacjentów postępowanie diagnostyczne oraz schematy terapeutyczne na przestrzeni lat ulegają modyfikacjom. Cel: Celem pracy jest przedstawienie aktualnego stanu wiedzy w zakresie terapii NGiS na podstawie najnowszych doniesień literaturowych i zaleceń NCCN ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zmian w algorytmach postępowania. Materiały i metody: Przegląd literatury przedmiotu na przestrzeni ostatnich 5 lat i wypunktowanie kluczowych zmian w terapii NGiS zgodnie z zasadami medycyny opartej na dowodach. Głównym przedmiotem zainteresowania jest analiza zmian w zakresie leczenia poszczególnych ognisk pierwotnych, wdrażanie nowoczesnych terapii biologicznych oraz personalizacja leczenia. Wyniki: Zmiany w wytycznych onkologicznych NCCN dotyczą wszystkich ognisk pierwotnych w zakresie ORL z wyjątkiem dużych gruczołów ślinowych i okolicy podgłośniowej krtani. Powstały w oparciu o badania z zakresu nauk podstawowych, które nadają kierunek aktualnemu stanowi wiedzy oraz o wieloośrodkowe próby kliniczne. Najnowsze zalecenia podkreślają skuteczność stosowania terapii biologicznych.<br/><br/>
