A DSC STUDY OF gamma-AMINOBUTYRIC ACID GAMMA IRRADIATED
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii din Bucuresti. Chimie - Year 2010, Vol 19, Issue 1
Abstract
The behaviour on heating of irradiated with gamma rays and non-irradiated γ-amino-butyric acid (γ-AMB) was investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry. γ-AMB decomposes before melting.

INCIPIENT PHASE OF THE CATALYTIC IGNITION OF LEAN n-HEPTANE-AIR MIXTURE
The incipient phase of catalytic ignition of 1.20% n-heptane-air over the surface of a heated platinum wire has been investigated at atmospheric pressure. The experimental setup allowed for ignition in isothermal conditi...
DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW ETHANOL BIOSENSOR WITH ELECTROPOLYMERISED MELDOLA BLUE AS MEDIATOR
An amperometric biosensor for ethanol was developed based on immobilization of alcohol dehydrogenase on screen-printed electrodes modified with electropolymerised Meldola Blue carried out by cyclic voltammetry in the ran...
ISOLATION AND FRACTIONAL SEPARATION OF TARRAGON ESSENTIAL OIL BY SUPERCRITICAL FLUID
The experimental results of supercritical CO2 extraction on tarragon essential oil at 50˚C and 90 bar are presented. The chemical composition and the yield of the supercritical extract are compared with those of the tarr...
ON THE CURENT DENSITY AND OVERTENSION SIGNS IV. THE CASE OF THE TRANSFER OF TWO IONS OF THE SAME CHARGE ACROSS THE ITIES IN OPEN CIRCUIT CONDITION
For a spontaneous electrode reaction the entropy production and the current density across the electrodic interface and the overtension under which the electrode reaction occurs are intimately linked. From this relations...
EXPERIMENTAL AND QUANTUM CHEMICAL INVESTIGATION OF NEW ELECTROLUMINESCENT MATERIAL BASED ON THIOPHENE, PHENYLENE AND ANTRACENE
In this paper, we first report, the synthesis and physical properties of a recent soluble polymer based on thiophene, phenylene and antracene. Then, we present a detailed DFT study based on B3LYP/6-31G* of geometrical st...
