A Few Points About the Pronoun ka and Its Derivatives

Abstract
In addition to the first written texts of Turkish, we also see various derivatives of pronoun ka in today's Turkish dialects. Researchers have stated different views about the derivatives of the pronoun. The derivatives of the pronoun ka which attracts a large number of linguists’ attention in Turkology have not been fully clarified so far in some cases. In this paper, new morphological analyses related to words deriving from the root ka have been made and a new classification of these derivatives has been presented. The different derivatives of the pronoun ka have been also demonstrated in the modern Turkic dialects with the historical periods of the Turkic language. Furthermore, subdialect studies has also been utilized in some cases in the analysis of the derivatives of the pronoun ka.
