A FORGOTTEN MÜNŞÎ, AKHISARÎ ABDÜLKERÎM ÇELEBI, HIS MÜNŞEÂT AND ONE OF HIS LETTER TO ŞEYHÜLISLÂM YAHYÂ EFENDİ ON THE OCCASION OF GREETING EİD

Abstract
In this article, attention is drawn to Abdülkerîm Çelebi’s life and his Münşeât which is his the most important work, he who is also named Abdülkerîm Çelebi, Abdülkerîm Efendi, Abdülkerîm-i Akhisârî, Abdülkerîm b. Sinân (1038/1629) in the biographical sources and writings and expressed by using one of the preeminent Anatolia münşîs phrase. We have tried to solve the predicaments about the field of copies of his münşeat and based on his biography also we also mention about XVII. century inşâ tradition around Şeyhülislâm Yahyâ Efendi. In last section we added to the end of this article one of his letter to Şeyhülislâm Yahyâ Efendi on the occasion of greeting eid, as an example of his art.
