A Review on Toothbrushes and Tooth Brushing Methods

Abstract

The focus of this article is the mechanical removal of plaque, using toothbrushes and toothbrushing techniques. It emphasize the use of products and auxiliary aids with toothbrushes in removing plaque and the maintenance of healthy teeth and gingival tissues. Any armamentarium used or prescribed by the professionals must have a thorough knowledge about the same.
