A UNIFIED APPROACH FOR GENERALIZED MINIMUM VARIANCE CONTROLLER FOR LINEAR TIME-VARYING SYSTEMS
Journal Title: International Journal of Mechanical and Production Engineering Research and Development (IJMPERD ) - Year 2017, Vol 7, Issue 1
Abstract
We study single input and single output stochastic linear time-varying systems and develop a unified approach for generalized minimum variance controllers. The plant to be controlled is a time-varying controlled autoregressive moving average model and the performance index includes both tracking error variance of filtered plant output and a quadratic function of filtered plant input. Both the input and output filters are linear time-varying

A New Model for Consistency Centered Maintenance in Petroleum Refinery
Refiners today work their hardware for delayed periods without shutdown. This is mainly because of the expanded weights of the business sector bringing about stretched out shutdown-to-shutdown interims. This spots compel...
ANALYSIS AND EVALUATION OF MACHINING RESPONSES DURING HARD TURNING OF EN353 STEEL
Estimation, prediction and analysis of responses in turning operation is one of the key research areas. This paper studies the performance of coated inserts (PVD and CVD) in hard machining. In this analysis, 27sets of ha...
A Study on the Enhancement of Thermal Conductivity of the Hybrid Filled Polymer Composite Heat Exchanger using CFD Analysis
In the present study, we tried to increase the thermal conductivity of polymer composite material due to the growing need to develop new materials for heat transfer applications. Polymer composite materials have been giv...
Experimental Determination of Buckling Strength of Stiffened Panels
In engineering application, the use of stiffened plates made of composite structures has ve increased over the last few decades due to its high efficiency in terms of high stiffness to low weight and high strength. Gener...
A CASE STUDY ON RESPONSE OF ALLOY GEAR STEELS TO CASE CARBURIZING AND IT’S EFFECT ON WEIGHT OPTIMIZATION OF A TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
The strength of a material is a very crucial design parameter from an engineer’s standpoint for designing a mechanical system with a primary design objective of optimization or minimization of system weight. This is part...
