Abstract
Since the Law on Higher Education came into force in 2012 Polish scientific periodicals were more than ever a subject to transformation, leading to improve their quality and to increase the visibility of the published articles in the international arena. The Library and Information Science periodicals also take part in that trend, as one can see eg. on the example of steadily growing group of periodicals which appear on the Journal List created by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. These include one of the oldest scientific journals in the discipline, functioning since 1989 – “Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Librorum”. The article presents efforts undertaken in the last few years to bring the journal up to the requirements coming from the standardization process of the journals published in the University of Lodz, as well as those requested by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Od momentu wejścia w życie ustawy Prawo o szkolnictwie wyższym w 2012 r. polskie czasopiśmiennictwo naukowe podlega większym niż kiedykolwiek transformacjom, prowadzącym z założenia do podnoszenia ich jakości, a także zwiększania widoczności publikowanych w nich artykułach na arenie międzynarodowej. W trend ten wpisują się również periodyki bibliologiczne i informatologiczne, co można zauważyć m.in. na przykładzie systematycznie powiększającej się grupy czasopism punktowanych. Zalicza się do nich jedno z najstarszych naukowych czasopism z tej dyscypliny, funkcjonujące w środowisku od 1989 r. – „Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Librorum”. Artykuł stanowi omówienie podejmowanych w ostatnich kilku latach działań mających na celu dostosowanie periodyku do wymogów wynikających z procesu standaryzacji czasopism wydawanych w Uniwersytecie Łódzkim, jak i tych postulowanych przez Ministerstwo Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego
