ACTUALIZATION OF GALYCHYNA’S VOCABULARY

Abstract
Lexics reacts to changes in society most sensitevely in contrast to other language levels. Actualization of the vocabulary is a natural process of the impoverishment of the lexical fund because of the Language Policy in 30–80’s XX century. Nowadays a separate study of updating of Galychyna’s Vocabulary hasn’t been created. The aim of our study is to trace the lexicographical study of Galychyna’s Vocabulary and to analyze the characteristics of it. Halychanizms are material of contemporary Ukrainian writers, such as Yuriy Adruhovych, Yuriy Izdryk and Yuriy Vynnychuk. The subject of this investigation is the semantic structure and stylistic features of the actualized vocabulary. The object is actualized Galychyna’s vocabulary. Galychyna’s vocabulary includes: 1) units of originally western literary language; 2) words that historically belonged to the eastern literary language, but they arent’s almost used in many parts of Ukraine, exept West; 3) dialect words. Lexicographical studying of vocabulary was miscellaneous because of language policy 30–80’s XX century. A certain part of Galychyna’s vocabulary isn’t fixed fix in «11-volume Ukrainian Dictionary». However there are a lot of halychanizms in other lexicographical sources: «Ukrainian stylistic vocabulary» by I. Ogienko, L. Tkach’s dictionary «Ukrainian literary language in Bukovina in the late XIX – early XX century»,»Lviv Lexicon, seriously and in jest» by N. Khobzey, A. Simovich, T. Yastremska, G. Dydyk-Meush and the «Vocabulary of halytsyzms» Yuriy Vynnychuk. Lexics of western origin is often used in all areas of public life. It can be explained by the reorientation of literary norms and replacement of russian words and their tracing to specific lexemes.
