Affixation as a productive way of term formation (based on fitness terms)

Abstract
The article deals with the investigation of morphological word formation in English – affixation. We consider the phenomena of suffixes and prefixes to be one of the most productive ways of term formation in fitness terminology. This study has enabled to identify the word-building potential of fitness terms, describe their productive patterns and semantic content.
