Compound terms in English geodetic terminology: peculiarities of formation and structure

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of compound terms in the English geodetic terminology. The attempt of morphological and structural analysis of the investigated compound terms, formed by compounding is made. The attention is focused on the definition of productive models of compound terminological units of the geodesic sphere.
