Artis et educatio. Un acercamiento a la noción de arte como posibilidad de reflexión pedagógica

Abstract

For hundreds of years, Art has been the human activity that has served mankind to reclaim its own existence, to transmit, through generations, all the values that has been built during its historical progression, as fruits of constant reflections, disappointments and encounters among people; therefore, Art is the most propitious space to create reflections about all the matters concerning to life, becoming an undeniable pedagogical instrument. This article tries to clarify the relationship between art and pedagogy, as reflexive element about human realities. Firstly, there are some required definitions about education, art and pedagogy that ease the topic comprehension. These definitions come from several fields of knowledge such as teaching, sociology and psychology, to connect, at the end, with the way art becomes a pedagogical reflection, rescuing historical, social, economic and political issues, even as a resilient possibility.
