As Study of the Role of Philosophy of History from Hegel’s Perspective

Abstract
Hegel, the German philosopher says: “the only thought the philosophy brings (for the study of history) is the simple thought of reason. That means the thinking that reason rules the world and the outcome of the world history has a rational flow”. The philosophy of history is nothing but reflective study of history which means that the way of knowledge in history is by reason and having reason and thinking is only specific to human and thus only human has history. The history of philosophy links the past and the present. It should be noted that what has happened in the past is not apparent by itself and needs the power of thinking to be revealed and to determine its the general course of evolution. The philosophy does not bring its specific thoughts into history to look at history based on that. Rather, in this method, the relationship between thought and historical events is placed in its right path and it does not study history based on those thoughts.
