BECOMING OF E. SOBOTOVICH AS PROMINENT TEACHER AND SCIENTIST

Abstract
The article highlights the aspects of the scientific way and life of the doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, member-correspondent of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine – E. Sobotovich. There are underlined the events of her scientific activity which made the influence on the incipience of the prominent scientist and became the noticeable contribution into the development of the Speech Therapy of Ukraine. Within the article there are mentioned places and positions which were occupied by the scientist. These data give the opportunity to follow up her work experience. There is the information about the education of Evgenia Fedirivna at Leningrad State Pedagogical University named after O.I. Gerzen; there are notes about the moments which made her to choose her interests. There are determined the directions and changes of scientific interests of E. Sobotovich. The article deals with the period at which the researcher was working at the studying the problem of the voice’s restoration, manifestation and elimination of the phenomena of the speech mal-development (tongue-tied, mal-development of the sound-pronunciation) of the pre-school children. It is made the review of the small part of the scientist’s published works. Within the article there are covered certain scientific stages of Evgenia Fedirivna. There are mentioned main moments of her personal life. It is traced the connection of the scientific and life paths which not only prevented but also influenced positively on their mutual, reciprical development.
