CHARACTERICS OF INTERNATIONAL LEGAL STANDARDS AND THEIR IMPORTANCE IN THE HEAD’S OF PENAL SYSTEM PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

Abstract
Based on the analysis of a wide range of international standards of penitentiary activity and human rights in this area, a list of acts addressed to a prison director who arranges the types of criminal punishments related to imprisonment is determined in the article. The importance of international standards in the head’s of Penitentiary System professional activity is substantiated. A range of international standards that are appropriate to investigate in the sense of administrative activity in the Penitentiary System of Ukraine is defined; the content of international standards addressed directly to prison administration is characterized.
