THE MAIN APPROACHES TO THE CLASSIFICATION OF STATE BORDERS IN THE PRACTICE OF UKRAINE AND OTHER COUNTRIES

Abstract
In the article the nature of national borders. the main approaches to them are investigated. They usually are characterized by specific criteria, namely legal, geographic, integrity, character and place of passing the border etc. Depending on the methods of installation, natural features, evolution determined specifics of certain kinds of State borders on the basic of Ukrainian legislation and international treaty obligations it current trends emphasize varieties of borders that require special attention to the authorized powers and officials, special regimes etc.
